I’m Back!

Harpo, who dis woman?

So, I’ve been gone for a while, but I’m back! I’m not sure what my schedule is going to be, but I’m back out this piece! Try to contain your excitement. You’re probably wondering where I’ve been and stuff. Well, you guys know I love a top 10 list, so here’s the scoop  via a top 10 list!

  1. I had a MAJOR life event go down and all my energy was focused on that. It was a mess, y’all. But, I’m happy to report that we are beyond all of that tomfoolery.
  2. My blog crashed (again) and I lost a lot of my blog posts. I was a lil salty about it all and refused to update my blog. #PoorSopingSkills Being that this has happened to me before, you’d think that I would know better and back up my blog.
  3. I was renovating my kitchen and dining room.           Kitchen_Reno_2 Kitchen_Reno_1
  4. We have been house hunting! *Twirls*
  5. I may or may not have discovered how to view Canadian Netflix from America.
  6. I have been working on an awesome project with my friends which we will launch in 2014!
  7. I’ve been involved in the home schooling ministry! Um, that’s a full-time job.
  8. I have been actively de-cluttering my life and getting rid of things I don’t need.
  9. I’ve been creating!
  10. I started a new YouTube channel! I’ve spent a lot of time working on it too!!

YAY!!! You’s back!!! You been doing the most, that’s for sure. Ok, what homeschool program are you using? I’ve been wanting to homeschool my young male unit since the very beginning. Unfortunately, I work fulltime and the circumstances don’t permit me to do it. I agree, its a full time job. Which of your male units are you schooling? My son, very smart, in a gifted program, but he’s struggling with this middle school thing. I am more assured that he’s a different kind of learner. I’m hoping that the counselor will help him get his focus and he can stay on task otherwise, he’s gonna shoot himself in the foot and he’ll end up at a school I don’t want.

You and the lists are back. YA-YAYEAH!! Now that you got the blog back, what about the book club? Believe it or don’t, I haven’t finished the book…I know, shameful. I lost my focus & motivation, but I”m going to finish. I swear, I think my A.D.D. is passed on to that male unit of mine. I’m gonna get my ish together.

      Curriculum: Keystone
Said son doesn’t want to be identified.
I will say this, having worked in the school system, I know that a lot of kids don’t get what they need, so home schooling is an alternative.
The book club is not a priority right now. I still read and I did finish the “Book Thief,” but I have so many things to do and I can’t focus my energy on that right now. Hopefully, soon.
