MERRY CHRISTMAS (or whatever your get down is)!!!! 
So here it is Christmas day and the person who loves to talk has lost her voice. I知 sooooo sad. You know something profound is going to be said to me and I知 not going to be able to verbally respond. And my hair is matted bullet proof mat. My mama bought me a coat with a hood for Christmas! Yeah!

It痴 a been a whole two weeks. And I知 still loving it. I look sooo different. I知 wondering if I even had hair. I can稚 seem to remember it. I have found myself looking at old picture of myself. Not longing or with regret but just in amazement with how different I look. You know I left home one way two weeks ago and I came home another way. How does one forget what one looks like. I致e found that for a lot of people they will pick a feature and nurse it. Mine was my hair. I had these proverbial strikes against me but I was like at least I got hair! I have turned into the bald headed chick...and I love it. You know if someone made a comment about my hair being short. I wouldn稚 even say anything. The thought of saying. You know I used to have hair and pull out a photo album discuss me.

Trish and I also have another job and we start on Monday. lol
Trish's last day was Monday night.
My last day was Wednesday night (The same night I got two tickets). lol I don't even want to tell you what us broke grad students were doing. *shakes head*

See, I had every intention of having braids in my hair (I was going to bread it myself with fake hair after I chatted with Yentunde and she made it seem soooooooooooooooooo easy, she even gave me a website to visit!!!!!)...
Well I couldn't figure it out. Even after I watched an online tutorial. :(

The style lasts about 3 days. I got my sister to do French braids on the side instead. I like them like this.
Yes, that is a box of Honey Bunches of Oats. lol
They are soooooo good with Vanilla Silk. YUMMY!!
The next day!!! My hair is too cute.
So, I thought the fish was dead (FLASH BACK <scroll down to the bottom>). Well I called my friend over to get him out the tank with some gloves (because he was too big for the net), well to our surprise he wasn't dead. He had fainted from hunger. I thought my friend was feeding him so I didn't feed him. When we sprinkled some food in his tank he sprang up like a leak (I know, bad Sug!!).

I still have the same twists. I just washed them and curled them...I don't like them. I didn't let them dry all the way before I took the rollers out.
So I pinned it up in the back:
Let this be a public service announcement. If you can help it: Don't take a summer graduate course. Why: Because there is a lot of work to do. How much work: 5 power point presentations (a total of 120 slides), 4 books, 16 typed assignments totaling 198 pages, and a 20 page comprehensive exam!!!

So I get a call from my friend...
Him: Yo Sug!
Me: Yeah babe what's up? *looks curious because it sounds like he's outside playing in traffic*
Him: Tell me why I ran out of gas!
Me: What?!?!
Him: Yeah, I ran out of gas. Can you come get me. I'm near your house.
Me: What?!?!? Um, who the hell runs out of gas in 2007?
Him: You know my gas gage is not accurate.
Me: Yeah, but who the hell runs out of gas in 2007. You know that's a crying ass shame right?
So I go take him some gas. It took several hours but he got his car started. Meanwhile I recorded the entire ordeal on my camera phone and has contemplated posting the video.

I am generally a non violent person but. I felt like slapping somebody today. On the way to and from Baltimore. Several of us drove up for poetry in the park (Happy Nappy Day).

The next day. I was at Danny and Yentunde's going away party. =( They are leaving VA. I will miss them and the babies.
